Congratulations to our DACC Landscape Architecture and Construction Technology students for placing 11th in the nation at the National FFA Nursery/Landscape Career Development event. They competed against hundreds of other students and the team of Noah Young, Elmer Hernandez-Tomas, Chris Beaver, & Evan Merklin received a Gold rating as a team, which was the first gold rating for Ohio in this competition since 2014.
The team also finished in first place in the Team skills portion of the contest.
Individually, Evan Merklin received a bronze rating, Chris Beaver received a silver rating, Elmer Hernandez-Tomas received a Gold rating and finished in 46th place, and Noah Young received a Gold rating and finished 12th place in the nation and will receive $400.
