DACC Staff Spotlight: Alex Zimmer, Agriculture Science at Buckeye Valley High School
Alex Zimmer has been teaching Agriculture Science at Buckeye Valley for 7 years. Before coming to DACC, he ran a small farm operation and assisted with his family's automotive business.
Alex has many great teaching memories; however, “Seeing students truly connect with the content and career field through career development events and our various award areas is always particularly rewarding.”
Alex has 3 dogs and 1 cat. “We are all thankful the cat has decided we are worthy of living with him.”
When not teaching, Alex likes to travel and enjoys the outdoors.
