NFPA 1403, Standard on Live Fire Training Evolutions involves specific requirements for pre-requisite training, evolutions planning, development, implementation, supervision, and management oversight, monitoring, and records management of live fire training evolutions in acquired structures, training center burn buildings, and a variety of types of exterior fire evolutions.

This course will provide students with an introduction to the necessary knowledge and tools to properly prepare and conduct live fire training evolutions. The course includes an in-depth analysis of NFPA 1403 and addressing fire evolutions in all types of burn buildings and props. 

• Students shall hold a current Fire Instructor or assistant instructor certification

• Students shall provide an agency support letter signed by the Fire Chief or Training Officer of their agency

• Students shall have completed and provide a certificate for IS 100, IS 700, and IS 200

​This class is 24-hours of classroom followed by the completion of the JPR's.
