Cleveland Clinic Banner School 2019-2020 Empowering Authentic Learning for Life

July 9, 2020

The Cleveland Clinic recently recognized Health Technology Instructor, Kim Castrodale, along with leadership at DACC, for their excellent work in the 2019/2020 school year. Ms. Castrodale implemented the Worldwide Classroom® Program, engaging high school students in topical explorations of health issues and health science and medicine career opportunities.  Each connected learning experience includes interactive exchanges with healthcare professionals that are designed to influence and encourage students to make healthy life choices and to explore health science and medicine career paths.

For her efforts and the support of administration at DACC, the Cleveland Clinic recognizes Delaware Area Career Center as a 2019–2020 Cleveland Clinic Banner School: a distinction earned by fewer than 24% of the 264 schools in ten states that participated in the K–12 Education School Programs this year.
